PIEAS Funding for Masters and PhD

Researchers Required for HEC Projects on PIEAS Funding

PIEAS is a research-intensive public university of Pakistan. It has been ranked as a number university in Pakistan by HEC rankings. Currently, it is ranked at the top position by QS World Ranking. PhD and MS programs at PIEAS come with generous PIEAS funding offered by various research institutes. PIEAS scholarships are funded by HEC, PSF, NRPU and various other organizations.

Applications are invited against following positions as part of the project National Center of Cyber Security (NCCS) to establish “Critical Infrastructure Protection and Malware Analysis (CIPMA) Lab” at PIEAS, funded by Higher Education Commission (HEC) Pakistan, and IT and Telecom Endowment Fund PIEAS. The selected candidate will work on contract basis for a period of one year (extendable up to three years). PIEAS Funding for Ph.D. Scholars (@ Rs 25,000 per month)

Education/Certifications
 MS Computer Science /Electronics/Electrical Engineering/Computer and Communication Security
 Cyber Security related courses during MS degree such as Computer Networks, Network Security, Cryptography
 Selected candidate will be required to register in PhD program at DCIS/DEE, PIEAS. Already registered PhD students from PIEAS may also apply.
 Any experience/ study in Cyber Security related project

PIEAS Funding for MS. Scholars (@ Rs 20,000 per month)

Education/Certifications
 BS in Computer Science /Electronics/Electrical Engineering from HEC recognized well reputed university
 University admission criteria applied
 Already registered MS students from PIEAS may also apply for one year project duration

Research Assistant (@ Rs 45,000 per month with 10% increase annually)

Education/Certifications
 MS Computer Science /Electronics/Electrical Engineering with final year project on topics related to Cyber Security
OR
 BS/BE Computer Science/IT/Computer Engineering/Software Engineering.
Professional Experience
 Strong development skills in C, C++, Python or Java
